A Few Functionalities of The ATM2 Therapy Are:

1.  Rehabilitation

Movements that are painful can become totally pain-free by repositioning and stabilizing body areas related to the impaired movement. If the patient was to do a specific set of Active Therapeutic Movements (ATMs) while in the pain-free and safe environment provided by the ATM2, then the pain-free movements will become long lasting, and this can be achieved with almost every musculo-skeletal patient.

2.  Exercise

With the ATM2 you can have a patient doing exercises immediately upon the onset of an episode or thereafter, in the direction and region of their impaired movement(s) but in a totally pain-free and safe environment. More so, they can do these exercises against any level of resistance, still with absolutely no pain.

3.  Performance Enhancement

Another major benefit of the ATM2 is having a significant increase in a movement ‘s range of motion and strength. All people can experience this also. Having an increase in range of movement and strength for almost any movement you choose will manifest itself as a significant performance enhancement for athletes and the general population. These increases in ROM and strength are not as a result of stretching or muscle strengthening but rather as a result of an increase in the optimization of the Central Nervous System (CNS) muscle activation patterns.

Ask Dr. Cohoon at your next appointment for a demonstration and more information about how the ATM2 can give you structural pain relief and enhance your range of motion and physical performance.
